Chris J. Boots joined AMJ Insurance in 2022 to head up the Funeral Professionals Insurance program in an effort to help funeral professionals, suppliers and manufacturers secure coverages for the demands placed on each segment of this unique professional sector of business.

Chris founded CJ Boots Casket Company in 1999 and grew the company to be one of the largest independent hardwood casket manufacturers in the United States. In 2019 Chris served as President of the Casket & Funeral Supply Assn of America as well as the board of directors for the organization prior to his appointment as President.

Chris has been a speaker at both state and national funeral director conventions and written various trade journal articles on the funeral business over the past several years. Chris also served as President on the South Madison Community School Board of Trustees (2008-2013). Chris lives near Sarasota, Florida with his companion Teresa where they enjoy the beach, entertaining and lawn bowling.
